For more than 70 years, York County Natural Gas Authority (YCNGA) has been proud to provide safe, reliable, and affordable natural gas to the communities we call home.

Established in 1954, YCNGA is a public, not-for-profit natural gas utility serving more than 77,000 customers throughout York County and the Blacksburg area of Cherokee County. As a local utility, we're more than the company that delivers natural gas to your home or business. We're your neighbors, your community partner, and a part of the place we all call home.

Our most important responsibility is delivering natural gas safely and reliably, every day. Our team maintains and continually invests in our natural gas system, conducts thousands of safety inspections each year, and plans for the needs of our growing community.

We also believe that being a public utility means looking beyond the pipeline. We invest in programs and partnerships that strengthen the communities we serve, from workforce development and education to customer assistance and community initiatives.
